SAMBUSA
Union members don't like McCain because he expects you to work for what you have. Union members want to sit on their asses and wait for their scraps to fall from heaven. Of course I don't like McCain and am not a union member. I'm just a member. I'm a union officer and I support McCain.

Disclaimer
Agreed, it's pretty common knowledge most unions are Dem supporters. Good to hear you have your own opinions though Sam and don't just cart blanch vote with the union (even though I disagree with your choice ).It's one thing for your union to recommend voting Dem, but its another when I hear stories from my coworkers about their friends/relatives who work at places that have basically sat them down and said "If Barack gets into office, we'll have to be making changes around here - laying off people, etc, etc". That's pretty RUDE and shady.Like this: http://online.wsj.com/public/article_print/SB121755649066303381.html

SAMBUSA
Why is it wrong for an employer to tell their employees what they believe would be the result of Obama being elected?Unions typically do the same thing for their "members"Because employers/unions have no clue as to what is going to happen if Obama gets elected. Let's face it, he cant do jack shit without the House and Senate
Todd#43
Because employers/unions have no clue as to what is going to happen if Obama gets elected. Let's face it, he cant do jack shit without the House and SenateNo one knows for sure what would happen with either candidate. However we have a rich history to draw upon, and along with the candidates' platforms we (business owners included) can project how things will go. Businesses always project what will happen in the future - sales, costs, ect. - to set budgets for the coming year.If a Democrat wins the white house, he will have a democrat controlled congress - makes it pretty easy to get all the socialist programs passed through.Oh yeah - lets get back on topic, before PrincessPeacemaker gets her panties in a wad again
