Zecho
Time to get the valves adjusted on the 929. Any suggestions on where to take it and what to do to lower the price? What should I expect to pay someone to adjust them?
Smokey
most shops will charge you 4 hours to do it. You will want to ask them whether or not they charge you for shims ($6-9 a piece for your Honda), some shops will include it, other's won't.For instance, Motorsports charges $68/hr but doesn't charge for shims, so you'd be looking at $272 plus shop fees/tax.If the shop you want to take it to charges you for shims, you may be able to offset some of the cost by buying a shim kit from Pony or the like for about $50-60, but make sure the shop will allow you to bring in your own parts first. shittygsxr
Are you sure you need it done? Check out some honda forums because alot of suzuki guys take them in only to find out they are still within spec.
