V8 Beast
I finally have my car back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just picked it up from Rob today. He was nice enough to drive back up to the shop after hours to let me pick it up. He also made a 3'' stainless y-pipe for me after realizing that it is very hard to find a good y for these cars. The car is flowing better, and it sounds great. Here are a few pics. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i89/xxtheonlyxx/y1.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i89/xxtheonlyxx/y4.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i89/xxtheonlyxx/Picture429.jpg

V8 Beast
Thanks, The cutout is still on there, its further back. He put the new transmission in, stand alone fuel system, and the y-pipe.
Guest 5.7
So its not on the actual ypipe itself?

Linn1647545492
It looks just like mine. Why did you not relocate the battery to the back of the car and put the fuel cell where the battery is?

Why did you not relocate the battery to the back of the car and put the fuel cell where the battery is? Keeping it simple. It is more of a precautionary measure. If you plan on getting long tubes save your money on the y-pipe and have Rob make one for you.

Is your car lowered? How much clearance under the y-pipe?

How much clearance under the y-pipe? Thanks! $400 for stainless. The mild steel would have been in the $300 area. The car is lowered (pro kit springs), I still have roughly 5'' of clearance. Billiumss
A little more than I expected, 5" of clearance with the Pro Kit Springs, I wouldn't complain about the price. Thanks for the info. Maybe someday I can check it out.
