Guest Ponyfreak
I have about 6 sets of heads on the shelf and need to sell a couple sets. I am looking to sell a set of DOHC heads with cams for $75. I have two sets at this price.
TurboRust
are these the proper ones for a mach? I think the intake design and where it bolts to the heads changed somewhere around 01. Lemme know I'll take a set if so
Guest powers
I am going to assume that these are 96-98 B heads. Not the 99+ tumble port heads. But for that price any of them are tempting.
Guest Ponyfreak
These are "B" heads and are a direct fit for a 96-98 Mustang Cobra. or 93-98 Mark VIII. They will fit on any 4.6 or 5.4 Block though. $75 is pretty fucking cheap. WILL TRADE FOR A LIGHTNING MAF that works.
Guest Ponyfreak
If someone buys a set of heads I have two aluminum blocks that I will sell for mock up purposes only for $60 as well. One is a BRAND NEW continental block with no sleeves in it, while the other is a 96 cobra with two windows where rods # 4 & 8 came through. I can get about 50$ for these at the recycle place. I have used the continental block for numerous mock up's and it is GREAT to have around for such purposes and I am only selling to help one of you guys out. You have to come pick this up though. WideOpenThrottle
Are they complete heads?
Guest Ponyfreak
They have valves and springs installed. I have to check if they have all the lash adjsuters and rockers. Both do have cams installed though.
Bam
just curious why the new continental block is for mock up purposes only? but bump for good prices for you!
WideOpenThrottle
How much to ship on them?
Guest powers
just curious why the new continental block is for mock up purposes only? but bump for good prices for you! It has the wrong motor mount and starter provisions for a mustang.
Guest Ponyfreak
Probably 25-30$. If you buy them but don't want them right away - I make it up to Columbus about every other month and can meet whomever with them. The continental block is aluminum and identical to all other 4.6 blocks except a different bellhousing pattern and no starter provision. It is a FWD pattern.
