The only time I ever got noticed by a cop was in Grove City and I was letting someone else drive the car so he got the ticket. Even then when the cop put the meter on it the battery light was on so I went to court with my friend and testified to that and it got dropped. dragknee66 Posted April 13, 2007 Report Share Posted April 13, 2007 Honestly it all depends on the area you drive for what you have to watch for. Westerville for tint, Gahanna for front plates.. I personally dont mess with tinted windows (I dont have a tint meter though), and I normally only stop 1 out of every 5-10 cars for no front plates just to look for things. (unless I run the tag and get a good reason to stop of course) Either way, both tint and no front plate is a good reason to get a tag run, and find an expired plate or a suspension.. so if youre "riding dirty", try not to have a stupid reason to get pulled over for.. speeding, tint, improper displays, headlights out, taillights broke, loud exhausts... blah..
