this is actually a tv he co signed for his step brother which never made any payments so he is trying to get as much as possible out of this seeing as how he is now responsible. total that needs paid is 2600 so he is losing a lot on this as it is.

That TV plays 1080i FORMAT(HD), it's not a 1080i display. It's a Projection - CRT with 1200 lines of resolution. Big difference.

 

difference being? is it worse or better

I'll offer $650 for the TV. Why?

 

- CRT's are pretty much going out now, as no one really wants them like they once did, due to LCD and DLP prices going down.

- TV is 4 model years old now

- I acutally missed a sale on a nicer 65" Hitachi for $1088 at HH Gregg earlier this year, and that's a brand new TV w/ a warranty

- Only a single DVI input with no HDMI, dated by today's standards

- Market for this kind of TV is limited, due to its LARGE size and weight (TV weighs over 300lbs). It's actually large compared to other 65" CRT's.

 

If he is willing to sell it for that, I've got cash.
