thorne
Just to be clear I'm not running my own flash ATM nor have i tried mine on the car. I'm running a OTS flash that others are running and seeing no issues with AFR. I'm just at a loss atm, MY thoughts are mechincal issue. MY wrx is having a issue with running lean according to the WB @ IPS. My car thinks its running a 11.25, But the dyno tehre should more into the 13 range at WOT. I know it started detonating on the dyno you can see it in my logs. It went from IAM 16 to IAM 4 Could this problem be related to a dirty filter? or a bad Oxygen sensor? My map has the right AF levels. I can upload my map if anyone on here is willing to take a peak. I'm really wanting to goto the dragons tale and hoping there is a cheaper answer then putting it on the dyno to be tuned by someone and then finding out there is other issue i should have addressed first. My cars info CatLess up and down ECU flash.
RedRocket1647545505
Narrow bands are only accurate at ~ 14.7 AFR. Wide bands cover a wider range. As for tuning and such, if you've never done a single thing with tuning, which it sounds like you haven't, you really should take it to someone who knows what they're doing. Tuning isn't something you're going to pick up overnight. Especially a tune for a boosted car.
Guest Removed
what he said. do you even deal with reading the factory maps and understand them enough too make a diagnostic decision?

This same tune others are running at getting ~11 AFR. I am not stupid enough to try and tacket this alone. I've posted my info on the tuning boards waiting to see some of the guys responses. But my question still stands. Could my car be thinking it has the right AFR and not adding more fuel?
thorne
what he said. do you even deal with reading the factory maps and understand them enough too make a diagnostic decision? I've read the piss out of maps stock/stage1/stage2/stage2.5's. But like i said I'm not running a tune i wrote. I was working on writing my own tune and was going to upload it on the tuning boards for review.

Guest Removed
But my question still stands. Could my car be thinking it has the right AFR and not adding more fuel? yes. whats the fuel trim look like? is it pulling fuel out? or tryying to add it? maybe the fuel system is weak? vaccum leak? maybe the o2s are washed out? thorne
so do you know what a factory tune looks like with a small vacuum leak? thorne
I'm new at shit. Its fun though but frustrating I'm buying me a daily soon. I clean the maf my number up from 180 tol 197 . Its idling better. the on board oxy says its 11.1 from 11.5 i think it was. I've got full data logs on both. It pushing the postive 9.5 which is what its tuned for. So It dont seem to be knocking I will know better around 1am after i review the logs. I need to get this up in a order to test this weekend for dyno day. . I could just change the tunet o think it needs to hit a lower target AF but if i did that i would have to watch a o2 snesor all the time. I'm going to be getting a WB soon. Just need to find people willing to ummm Street dyno to run the laptop.

Dude the link doesn't work, but if you're trying to buy a wideband from VatoZone, I pity the fool...aka YOU. Spend the money, do it right THE FIRST TIME, or GIVE UP, put the car back to stock and DON'T FUCK IT UP. It's not worth it doing it yourself, remember your failed mustang project and how it ended?
