Guest tecnomike
ok I found specs on the jetta 0-60 in 10.6 sec with a 2.0 5speed, but no 1/4 mile info yet here is the web site http://www.new-cars.com/2003/volkswagen/volkswagen-jetta-specs.html#engine, I am down I really thought it was faster than that
surefooted
No worries. People hear numbers all the time and don't realize how fast a certain time really is. For example, TFNF made "10 second cars" seem like they grown on trees.

351mach11647545510
yes, I am nto sure what it will do 0-60 0r in 1/4 mi. but I know that it is not to bad on the pickup, I do not know what it will do though, I know it will get past 110mph and have plenty more left. :funny: my truck will pull 100 easily, does that mean im at least a 13 sec. 1/4? :nutkick:

Guest tecnomike
well someone is very very confused  :chill: I have never ran e85 in a vw . In a aerostar yes it ran great is their a problem with that it is 105 octane! what I did on the aerostar is put on a cold air intake , change fuel pump, add bosh p 4's and I removed the cats and put a glasspack on it it ran great. it had 172000 mi on it and it did not burn a drop of oil it got demolished 3 weeks ago. As for not knowing what the car dose in a 1/4 mile I have had it less than a year and I have not raced it like that. as for motors I have been in several. later have a good 4th :gone: :gone:

Mike C
No I don't consider myself one. WTF Man. It was a generalization on my part in regards to the comments posted by most in this thread. I'm sure there are some exceptions such as yourself
