Jackson1647545504
Anyone have one of those devices used to detect hidden cameras? Our office had a security audit months ago and some employees thinnk as part of it they installed hidden cameras w/o telling anyone. I'm curious to know where they are andwondering if someone has such a device I can borrow.

Akula
That only works for wireless cameras, what if the camera is hidden and wired?
Supplicium
Most likely it is wireless. Since the building already existed it would be worlds easier to just install wireless ones if they even did. What line of work are you in? We have audits but video tape would be worthless in my situation.
Supplicium
I also believe to use any evidence against you they have to notify you of: 1. the kind of surveillance to be carried out (camera, computer or tracking) 2. how the surveillance will be carried out 3. when the surveillance will start 4. whether the surveillance will be continuous or intermittent 5. whether the surveillance will be for a specified limited period or ongoing

Not true if you read your handbook at almost any job they covered that with a nice boilerplate statement. I know this was the case at places I've worked. As for computer use yeah you need to worry about that one way more. God I know i used to get a kick out of doing graphs of how many poeple were on monster.com after any given meeting to decide what the state of the company is. also with the new 802.11 based cameras those detectors would not work in a company with wifi already iw ould detect everything. LJ
How about you don't do anything unethical and you won't have to worry about the cameras
