Buck531
Someone on another forum read somewhere else that you wrap your xbox in a towel for like 3-4 days and it fixes it. He had the ring of death ... wrapped it in a towel. Now it works fine.

morabu
yes.......there is no need to sell your dead Xbox's anymore, Microsoft just extended the warranty for ALL 360's to 3 years! and seeing how the 360 has only been out for 1 1/2 years that means all 360's are covered for at least another 1 1/2 years! except if you modded it and now it's dead, then sell away! darkwind
Yeah, it's too bad they only extended the warranty on the red light problems. Mine has stopped working, but without those three red lights they want me to pay $99 for the repair... might be worth it, but it sure would be nice if mine would just conveniently start glowing red. sciongirl
I hadn't heard about the warranty being extended, that's awesome! I haven't been playing though lately...
