Skinner
Ok we built (Centex) our home 4 -5 years ago. the back corner of our lot the sidewalk was never finished. When we moved in we were told the city will need to finish it once they decided how the street would be set up. Well I kept bugging them from time to time never got a straight answer. out sub-deivision is nowbeen finshed for a couple years and I have gone through the Homeowners assoc. with no luck on getting it taken care of. The queation I have is Should I just call the city and have the do it and if they do will I be charged. Or should I still fight with Centex to see if they are responsable for it. Since it is part of the easement I am not sure of where to go or how to handle it. Also does anyone know the distance a between a fire Hydrant and a strom drain should be? Akula
Pretty sure the sidewalk is your responsibility. Ask the city. If it is your problem the Centex should have included that in the price.
