We lost a pet last year about this time. Our cat, Booger-Don't Be One!, died in my arms when his heart gave out. He was only 9 years old but we knew he had a heart condition since he was a kitten. He is still missed. Lyndse painted a picture of him and put it on the wall in the living room. I still sometimes see that little bastard in the house.
