Ef Love
This car has been in my family since it left the salesroom floor. My aunt drove it until 1998 I believe. She didn't have any problems with it, drove it daily, and made many trips from the Dublin area to Indian Lake (at least once a week). She took great care of the car, and it was maintained regularly. My "responsible" sister drove it after that until 2001, She had no problems with it either. It was then passed down to the other sister, who didn't take good care of it (just being honest). She never changed the oil or any other sort of regular maintenance, she did how every purchase a new exhaust for it sometime around 2002. Yeah, so not changing the oil/ adding oil caused the motor to lock up and my parents purchased a new engine for it and that was around 2002-03 when there was about 125,000 miles on it. They were informed the new motor had about 45-50 thousand miles on it and held up until 2006. After the swap, the car went from the other sister, to me, and then back to my responsible sister. In late 2006 the water pump went out and it was replaced in January 2007 along with all new belts. Shortly after that, I was driving it and the exhaust fell off, the brakes went bad, and work was started on it in March 2007. What was done: new front rotors, calipers, pads, passenger side axle, driver side outer tie rod, catalytic converter, resonator, tires and alignment (with six month warranty on alignment, 2 years or something like that for the tires). So now, the car runs. I've taken it to Pittsburgh and back probably 20-30 times since January 2007 and haven't had any problems that have left me stranded. The car does however need some work, that would include (to the best of my knowledge): new muffler, fixed wiring for the horn/brakes/cruise control (there is a short and if you try to honk the horn and push on the brakes, you can't use cruise control, the brake lights don't work, and if you put it in park it will lock up and you have to stick the key in and unlock it), fixed leak in the a/c, oil change (I'm about 500 miles over), if you want to include the body work, it could use that as well. To me, it's not THAT bad. It's an older car and time/weather has taken it's toll to the paint. That's all I can think of now, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. Tshensley
so if the fuse is replaced and the horn didnt get used would the cruise control and brake lights work?

If it does happen, a QUICK fix is to replace the fuse. To have it work with no problems, it would need rewiring/fixed wiring. The brake lights and cruise control work now with no problems (It's the goshdarn horn that fudges everything up).

Ef Love
I put this on Craigslist, and I've had a lot of responses. If you or someone you know from CR is interested, please feel free to post any questions or concerns. I'd prefer to sell it to someone on CR that can benefit from it.
