SlowZ06 Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 If you were reading a certain publicly accessible court web page, here's why it would say that: ALL cases (Misdemeanor or felony) in Franklin county start in the Municipal court. Felony cases are only heard in the court of Common Pleas. Arraignments are handled in Municipal court, then a felony case would be dismissed and refiled in Common pleas court, assuming a Grand Jury indictment.
