Mojoe
I thought I had heard someone hit 1000 last year. I don't know though??? SPLN SUX
what do you expect, its a 4 cylinder making 1000 hp? 700-900lbft... i guess im just used to the old 2.4L .450 lift cams, long stroke, 300+ cfm heads... oh well, days of old. Mojoe
If I understood the forum, It's a world record with the 2.0. The 2.1 and 2.4 strokers have broke 100hp before. I really don't know about it at all. I know it's nuts is all.
SPLN SUX
yea, thats quite a few ponies to be running 10,000rpm

Stallion Motorsports1647545491
why is that song in every car video?
Boost-n-Juice
dyno queen. Torque is what moves the car. Still impressive though.
ImUrOBGYN
600ft/lb+ is still nothing to so quickly dismiss.
Mallard
yea, thats quite a few ponies to be running 10,000rpm Considering HP is a function of RPM, not really. How else do you think you're going to get 1000 AWHP out of 2.0L?? You spin it incredibly high and slap on a turbo that can flow 1000HP, which means it doesn't spool until 6500k rpm. Which is also why your torque value is so low when compared to HP. Torque < HP after 5252 rpm...long before this turbo even spools.

boostedgtp
Its says 51 psi. I wonder how long they keep'um together? Thats a lot of power tho.
kep91tsi
They will keep it together for a while. There road race car runs stock block and head with 500 hp and it has lasted for year. The ams evo ran an 8.5 at norwalk for the evo subie shootout not a dyno queen by any means. They currently still hold the world record for fastest evo. Pretty fast :woowoo:
Guest earleys94gt
You have to respect anything that makes 1000hp or anything close to it.

Mike C
dyno queen. Torque is what moves the car. Still impressive though. Yeah. It's a dynoqueen that's already went 9.60 at 153 in shakedown passes
