Mojoe
Seems we have been in the same areas doing similar things. When I lived in Hawaii, I work on a demo crew ripping out walls in buildings like that. Pali look out brought back memories. You were about 15 minutes from my base from there. Great pics. Thanks for posting them.

It was still being built when I left and it looked like a great route through the mountains!! I'm so rusty on my beaches there but I think I see Chinaman's hat, Waimanalo maybe?? I know it's not far from Kaneohe.

You are close.... another hint... 308GTS Oh hell, if your referring to Magnum PI or something I'd be clueless then. It's been since 94 since I was there so I'm stumped. The H3 looked great from what I could tell, it was supposed to be open 20 years ago but the constant cave-ins of the tunnels and a bridge collapse while I was there held it up a lot. HAOLE
How was the garden island. I was there for my honey moon(other island). Next year we are talking about going to the garden island. Kauai is a very nice place... It is much different that Oahu. They roll up the sidewalks at 9:00 pm. Most people that make their first trip to Hawaii, to Waikiki are often disappointed. Honolulu is like New York City with a great beach. As a matter of fact it is one of the most densely populated places on earth. I am seriously thinking of selling out and moving over.
Dr. Apex
Waikiki is overrated, it's not very big and way to crowded. The thing it has going for it is the location obviously and it's very family friendly and safe with it being so shallow, no real current, and small wake. I never got to visit the other islands but I hear it's vastly different, like you said about rolling up the sidewalks at 9pm. It's much smaller and vastly less populated but much more quaint. You could spend months exploring all the islands with everything they have to see.
