stolen 5.0 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 I figure there has to be a resistance value on the O2 sims, anyone ever try soldering resistors inline on the rear O2 sensors to trick them instead of using the sims? Guest Removed Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 O2 sims? or a good programmer will let you shut them off! the predator will let you just shut them off! im sure other programs will alllow for that too! and a resistor wont do it! considering the o2 sensor preduces a milli volt reading under 1 full volt. the other 3 wires are for the heater in the o2...it allows for faster warm up, and faster responce time! are you just trying to do the rears. rl Posted September 16, 2007 Report Share Posted September 16, 2007 You can use spark plug anti-foulers that space the sensor out of the pipe about a half inch. They sell them in the help section at most parts places. Or you can flash the computer etc, but you already know that.
