Mattsn2o281
I like how the cop or the cops boss wa saying how gps is not all that accurate, how powerlines and cloud cover can throw it off and how it can be tampered with. Yea ok sure, when there are probably 1000's of satallites that are bouncing a signal back to to the transponder in the car every few seconds im sure its just a rough guess lol. This is ex military hardware basicly, and on almost all the units i have looked into, they guarentee to be within 10 feet of your actual location and +/- 1-2 mph at most. It's not just a guesstiment. TTQ B4U
interesting one to follow.... I know both my in dash unit and my portable report my speed either right on or within 1mph of my car. My GXP has Heads Up Display so I can set the cruise at 72mph and the portable unit reports 71mph. The built in unit matches the needles pretty much dead on.
