...with purchasing cars. Here's what I just traded in on:

I didn't know supercharged cars were this fun! :D Hopefully I'm done buying cars for awhile, as this is my 7th and I've only driven for 4 years.

Your disease is unfortunately...chronic. You will not be happy with a car, even if you look back and say, "wow that car was perfect for me " I have learned to live with it. The local YMCA has some self help classes, but the car dealers make it a bitch to stay clean.

BTW that looks like a fun ride...street legal supercharged go-kart. It should corner like its on rails. The mini has a great history behind it. The British Racing Green is sexy, as it should be.

Have fun with it...will we see you autox-ing it?

Good choice! I miss the one my dad had when they first came out in 2002. They really do handle like they're glued to the pavement, just gotta watch out for that torque steer, especially after switching from the Miata. By the way, if you are thinking about getting a cat-back, my dad still has the Borla system that he bought for his in the shed, if you are interested shoot me a PM. It's in Cleveland but I could figure out a way to bring it back with me next time I go home.

Damn hood latch is on the passenger side. It was funny seeing 3 techs looking for it.

It's funny because I asked to see the engine bay and I had to show the clueless salesman where the latch was.

Actually, the reason I even got the Miata was to auto-x in and have fun daily driving. So much for that. :(

I will definitely be at the fun event but I've got such a hectic quarter with school and work that it'll be tough.

Cool I'll let you know. I think I can stuff it in the passenger seat of the Miata though, nice thing about it being from a Mini is the fact that it isn't very long. Over the years I've found ways of fitting things in that car that would surprise you.

Happened to me at work. I spent 45 minutes looking for the hood latch, going through the owners manual, ect. Called out Sean, he had trouble finding it too. We eventually found it...

nice buy, always thought it was funny that they put back seats in the cars.

Agreed. I'm average height and the back of my seat is still pressed against the backseats. The backseats fold down so there's tons of space for just carrying some stuff.

I remember that......sombody probably dropped the ball and forgot to move the release from the passenger side to the drivers side on the American versions.

Nice buy, love the color.

Friend wanted to test out his new camera so my car was his guinea pig.

I hear you. I keep hoping a deer runs out in front of me so I can get a TrailBlazer SS, but my current TrailBlazer is so good to me. I just packed $1500 worth of IKEA furniture in it yesterday. :)
