wnaplay1647545503
I got the corvair running but it wont idle. It has 2 single barrell rochester's on it that I know need rebuilt but I would like to make sure they thing runs and drives before I start tearing it apart. I have checked the vacuum lines and I am definately getting fuel to both carbs. Any suggestions?
Rally Pat
Dirty maybe....When you do a rebuild, make sure you give them a thorough cleaning in some parts solvent.
Crossle
Make sure it warms up, most cars that use a manual choke won't idle well until they get hot. Is it stalling right after you start it? Do old corvairs even have a manual choke? Idk what your experience is w/old cars so if that is "well duh" to you then i apologize.
