As the commentary says, the game was at 7-2, Boulerice's Flyers were winning and out of no where he cheap shots Ryan Kessler. Fuckin pussy, your not a real man if you have to prove your 'toughness' by crosschecking a guy in the face possibly ruining his career, just drop the gloves and have at it. Yes everyone knows hockey is tough and its very physical, the smallest dissagreement could end up into a fight and a 5min major penatly but there is an unspoken rule that you dont try and end someone's career by doing something crazy like this OR use your stick in ANY way shape or form, thats why there is fighting. The average lifespan of a hockey players career is short enough as it is but if you add in a serious concussion or worse yet brain injury your taking away that persons ability to provide for his family and thats just not respectable in any way shape or form. I wish he was suspended for a whole year, unfortunatly he only got 25 games, which is alot in hockey terms.

For reference Im a NY Islanders fan and was ashamed when Chris Simon slashed Holleweg in the face with his stick. This situation was very similar but came in a game between the Rangers and Isles which is a bitter rivalry. He got a 25 game suspension for this last year.
