I've been playing guitar for far too long and forgot how much movement is in playing bass. Who plays, post ur gearz here. ME: 1977 Gibson RD Artist bass Squier Jazz Yamaha BB1600 with EMG's Shitty Yamaha SE250 Guitar Oh and my first bass, a Karera no name not even wood bass. The bass player in my band has a 72 with the same head you have a pic of, and has used the same set up but with newer a ampeg 8x10 and the 72 is world of difference. stevethepirate Posted October 18, 2007 Report Share Posted October 18, 2007 im a trumpet player also.... but i wanted to learn the guitar, so i got some crappy generic acoustic and an ibanez gax. once i got better, i bought an ibanez FG. it is discontinued, was frank gambale's ibanez guitar. ive been told it is the lightest electric guitar with a whammy bar. AMAZING guitar, but the price also reflects this. i have a line 6 spider II amp, its not bad for someone like me that just messes around a bit. i havent played enough in the past few years though.
