Nitrousbird
Rutgers just took down USF. So now we can stop hearing the "USF should be #1, not OSU" crap. Of course, now they will probably say the same thing about BC. Edit: should mention it was a damn good, close game. Rutgers special teams couldn't catch a ball to save their life! Dr. Apex
Great game!! Rutgers did give them their shot to win it with the 3 special teams drops but they screwed it up themselves. Rutgers play some good games against good teams, last years game against Louisville was awesome as well.

verse
That returned blocked FG call was BS. Those officials were after USF.
Nitrousbird
That returned blocked FG call was BS. Those officials were after USF. Not really. The first guy who had his hands on it clearly knocked it forward. If you looked at the side camera angle on the 2nd guy to have it, he took his right arm and swung the ball to the left to his guy over there. El Karacho1647545492
BC has the best corners in college football right now, its part of the reason their safeties are getting so many INTs. QBs are having to throw up the middle. That said, they haven't really encountered anyone good enough to get around those corners yet, so they def. don't deserve to be #1. OSUGT
And OSU has played suuuuuuuch a tough schedule theirselves. Let me try and explain this to you again. Nobody here says OSU has played a tough schedule. They are a default Number 1. We won, others lost. I dont think there is a realistic Buckeye fan that thinks we are the most dominant team in the country. That being said, we are 7-0 and you are not. Have a great time watching the Citrus Bowl. ImUrOBGYN
I figured it'd be a matter of time. My teams are pissing me off other than South Carolina. I am still rooting for Cal, USC and Oregon though the former two.... dammit.
OSUGT
Careful OSU may be playing in the Citrus Bowl..... Nah, worst case scenario is an at large BCS bid to the Fiesta. The folks in Tempe love Buckeye Fans!
Ramsey
who would have thought an underdog in the big east upsets at home. that never happens. the big east is over-rated.
phil
the big east is a good confrence they are a soft version of the sec where everyone beats on eachother, they are the 3rd best confrence in the nation behind the sec and the big ten

Scotty2Hotty
No sweat, we're #1 and will stay that way. Amen.
Dr. Apex
It's funny too that the Sports Center guys had just said the day before that this would be the game to watch for an upset as it was the exact same situation for Louisville last year when they were beat. I find it unlikely that OSU would lose tomorrow but the way this year is going nobody is safe, my concern with them is that Ringer guy, he's damn good, but as long as the Spartans aren't overlooked we'll do fine. clk1
You know LSU and Oklahoma are just sitting back and waiting for everyone to lose, because everyone is saying it will still be them 2 in the national championship game. phil
this is not the time to be number 1, or even top ten, i still see lsu and west virgina, oklahoma wont win the big 12 title, watch

DaddyBuiltRacing
Remeber LSU and Oklahoma both can still lose atleast 1 more game. Since they have a conference championship game. I see OSU running into some issues with the last 4 games....if they can go through that part unbeaten, then no one is going to beat them in the NC game. OSU's defence is hands down the best in the nation. People claim LSU...no way!! Granted OSU hasnt had the toughest schedule, but honestly if you look at other teams schedules, no one has had a brutal one. The sec is weak this year, the pac 10 is all over the place, the big east is a joke, acc we wont even go there. BTW the schedules are made years in advance, so when we scheduled Washington they was a power house from the Pac10, just like how we have USC the next 2 years, then VA Tech, Oklahoma, Cal and Miami are all in our futures as well. Its not about who you play, its about beating everybody that you play. Thats what gets you to the NC game. There is no way a 1 loss team will jump a perfect OSU team. OSU draws in ratings! clk1
Dont ever say we can not get beat, just remember last year in the title game, Fla was not suppose to be on the same field as us, but look what happened.
verse
The sec is weak this year, the pac 10 is all over the place, the big east is a joke, acc we wont even go there. The SEC is weak... let's see. In the top 25 there's LSU, Kentucky, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee. Big East there is South Flordia, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Connecticut is 5-1, and Rutgers might even jump in there this week. Pac-10 there's Arizonia State, USC, Cal, and Oregon. Now who do we have from the Big 10... OSU and Michigan. Who is supposed to be tough then?
