They have the best night shot out there and since most of my filming is done at night, that is the most important thing. Hard drive units with HD seem to be the new fad. I am concerned on how well the hard drives hold up. I know if I had one, I would be filling the HD up all the time before I would end up cleaning it off and my worry would soon that hd would die on me. Then can I replace that hd or do I have to shell out more for a whole new one. I guess I will stick to my old Hi8's for a while longer.
