wnaplay1647545503
Anyone ever hook up 2 batteries to the same charger? I want to hook my boat batteries up on charge but I only have the single charger. can I just make myself up a short set of jumper cables and attach these to the first battery as well as the clamps coming off the charger? Cougar1647545494
the charger can't tell whats connected to it, it just sees the "load" (impedance) and voltage the auto charge function may not work, but you should generally be able to charge without problem providing they are the same type battery, ones not dead, and you have the time (your charging rate will be cut in half) both with equal out voltage and current wise, so there is no danger if both are healthy

Cougar1647545494
we used to hook both batterys up to a trickle charger and never had a problem. really depends on the tolerance and precision of the charger- since it measures the "state" of the battery by impeadance
AJ
really depends on the tolerance and precision of the charger- since it measures the "state" of the battery by impeadance well then they lasted more than 4 years without a problem based on magic.
