Stimmel1647545512 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 So I'm having some problems with the car or shall I said had that I forgot about until today when i messed with it, Due to the symptoms(top wouldnt go up/down heat only blows out on low if that turn signals dont work and if i turn the key too fast it clicks and wont start) i believe it need a new ignition switch do does anyone know where/and if this is an easy job to replace on my 1988 mustang GT convertible?? Bam Posted November 28, 2007 Report Share Posted November 28, 2007 yeah, i did one on my car, its pretty easy, get one for like $20 at autozone and rent the steering wheel puller at the same time, once the wheel is out it just is plug and play, snaps in it 2 seconds and comes with a new key.
