removing the governor on my truck.

how do you remove/disable the governor on a 2002 ford ranger edge? or does it even have one? im so confused i need a real answer because i hear to different things? i need some help. thanks.

 

If you haven't hit the governor yet then why are you even asking us how to get rid of it? Really? No way? You really didn't ask...

but two years of driving experience, small pickup and looking to go into triple digits.... :confused: hopefully not on public streets in the NW area of town.

The theory of just because you can/you should......very intelligent to feed the fury of it all. Thank you for adding something so useful to the roads my family drives on. :( Perhaps Anthony should add a button next to "Post" that says "Submit to Dave for approval" :rolleyes:

 

he asked if he could defeat the speed limiter not wether or not it was a good idea to do so please try to post only if you have something usefull to add

Would some of you grow up and quit shitting in threads already? So fucking what if he wants to remove the speed limiter, maybe he wants to stuff a turbo on it and run it at Trails, or take it to the Bonneville Salt Flats.

 

Who cares, but it's not your place to interject your opinions everytime you see something you don't agree with, especially when someone is seeking assistance from a technical aspect on a legitimate request.
