Something Simple, but I'm dumb.

I have two external drives connected to my PC. One firewire, the other USB2. They used to have drive letters assigned as G: and O: but now are appearing in reverse order.

How do I assign them different letters so they are back to the way they were? Can I make this change permanent?

The change will affect my back up system thus why I'm asking.

Thanks!

When I right click on My Computer I get the systems properties window, but there isn't a tab that says manage.

I thought it would be under the Hardware tab somewhere but I don't see where I can change the assigned drive letter :confused:

Win XP SP2.

goto manage my pc and reassign them by right clicking on them.

Right click My computer

Manage

Disk Manager

Right Click Disk

Its hould be right there.

Click Manage from the right click menu, not Properties.
