88lx5oh Posted December 15, 2007 Report Share Posted December 15, 2007 http://www.orb.com/orb/ you can stream any media from your computer to your phone whereever you are. i have all my music, photos and videos readily available to view or listen to on the go using this program. and if you have a tv tuner in your pc you got your cable tv on the go. ill be picking a tv tuner up soon. and this program is all free. i love it. dont have to store any media on my phone. keep it all on the PC and access it whenever i like. had my doubts, but after using it, im sold. if they charged for this i would pay the money to have it. also found out i can get Sirius satalite radio on my phone as well. 88lx5oh Posted December 16, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 my bad typing/thinking pwns me at the moment i meant Sirius, as in what is involved in getting it running and what's needed download the app here. you may have to register, but its free. http://forums.geekstoolbox.com/showthread.php?t=86 if your a current sirius subscriber then you can use your internet radio lagin and password. if not youll have to sign up for it. for just the inernet sirius radio (same channels as if you activate a unit) its $9.95 a month compared to $12.95 for activating a unit. also you can do a 3 day trial by going to sirius.com to see if you like it. and if you have a way to connect it to your radio in your car then BOOM! you got it going on. works with windows mobile 2003 through WM6 cant use it on an iphone but there are other ways around it. as well as other phones might support this app, but there are other ways around it as well. here are some specs of the program SiriusWM5 Stream live internet radio for Sirius subscribers. * Use Windows Media Player or TCPMP to play the stream. * CD quality option for those who have upgraded their Sirius Internet radio subscription. * Displays the Artist and Song information just like with your car dash Sirius radio. * Sirius Canada supported. * Graphics for each channel.
