Rally Pat
I have a USB 802.11g dongle that I installed when I got the computer, but now it wont recognize it. In situations like this, I would usually just plug it into another USB port and windows would magically recognize it again, but Thorne's only has 1. What should I do? jfiveeight
Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager. See if it is listed under network adapters, if it is, delete and reinstall the driver software for the dongle. that might work.
Akula
does it have an indicator light? does it light up? if you have any other usb device, check the port.

Port works, I ran the drivers for it off of a flash drive.
Rally Pat
does it have an indicator light? does it light up? if you have any other usb device, check the port. It has an activity light, which only lights up when you have connected to a network.
