DSM1290
Can someone explain what is done when you balance a rotating assembly in an engine. Or point me in the direction of a site that can explain it. Thanks.
AJ
its along the lines of a wheel balance. keeps the vibrations out of the engine. the crank is balanced on a machine that spins it pretty fast and the rods are balanced on a scale type device. pistons are are weighed and weight removed so they all weigh the same.
