Draco-REX
Honestly, it seems like some people buy these hot cars just to crash them. One of the first few 08 STIs has been totaled also.

caseyctsv
Nice - I just got the most recent issue of Motor Trend and I am confused on the performance of this car. Per Nissan, it is faster than a C6 ZO6 at the Nurburgring. I know that braking and cornering are a huge part of the time but the ZO6 is certainly no slouch in the corners or braking. How does a car that weighs 900 pounds more than the ZO6 beat the ZO6 with 25 less horsepower. I am sure the power curve is better in the ZO6 as well - N/A horsepower. I think either Nissan is overestimating the abilities of this car or are understating the horspower.

coty061885
I've read many sources saying the GT-R is faster than the Z06 around "The Ring." It's only by 3 or 4 seconds, but it's faster. I'm pretty sure the Z06 has near perfect weight distribution, something along the lines of 51/49 front to rear. I haven't seen many figures on the GT-R but I'm willing to bet they'll say the same thing. But, according to the previews and reviews I've read, the GT-R is supposedly easier to drive and inspires you to push the car harder. So far that seems to be what's giving it the edge.
