Well, I ordered a STI RA Tranny from a comany named fine line. They sent my tranny in complete. (Forgot a clip). IPS put my tranny in and it hand grenaded. So we shipped it back they rebuilt it again and sent it back. Now the grulling 500 miles of break in.

 

 

So What I just had done.

 

IPS Motorsports Prototype Catback with Borla XR-1 Muffler and STI Style chrome tip

( I was running stock catback - muffler )

JDM Spec STI Type RA Transmission .

Clutch Masters lightened flywheel.

 

 

In the living room I also have the following waiting for 500 miles and time to dyno tune.

 

Large Top mount intercooler(Bigger then STI)

TurboXS MBC

Bomz Ram air

 

 

Expecting to see 300-320whp on dyno.

Current best is 280whp.

What year on the tranny? Those are some good numbers, what turbo are you running and psi?

 

Sorry with the questions, I have read a ton of your posts and just never knew what you had done to your car. I was assuming it was a stage 2+ or somewhere around there capable of mid to low 13s based on your posts.

I am beyond stage2.

 

VF39 Turbo @ 20psi on the last dyno.

800CC Injectors

Walbro 255LPH

 

No stage 2 puts out 280whp unless its a STI and then it would be more.

I ran 13.499 with a boostleak @ norwalk last year on my old setup (stage2).

 

For refrance most V39 people think there 260-280 is the shit and they have more parts then me. Blah weak sauce remove timing add boost lean out avoid knock. I tuned my car on 93 octane and I run 94. I don't see knock. my setup is below

 

 

My car should be mid to low 12's next year.

I tuned the car myself on the dyno at IPS. I picked up 11whp and 30whtq If I rember right from the street tune i had on it.

 

My stage 2 put out 235whp

(Just up and down pipe) and pnpd stock turbo

 

My stage 1 put down 199whp

BONE STOCK + tune

 

My Stage Thorne put down 280whp

VF39

thanks for info! Your car sounds like a pretty fun ride. I am running cobb ap on my car. So, unless they have the protuner im out of luck with the tuning there. I would like to see what my car would put down on that dyno though.
