wolfman
I know it's a long shot but there are a few computer/electronics people on here...
jarvismb
what do you need it to do, and how long do you need it?
wolfman
I got plasma tv with the screen out for cheap. I got the picture back but there is one single black line across it. I'm trying to figure out if its the y-drive or the screen itself that is bad.
wolfman
IDK...a day topsAdd: I'll have to read more but it looks like its only a couple things I have to check. I can take the TV to the oscilloscope too if that works for somebody. I used to have access to all this stuff at OSU...grr Edited December 9, 2008 by wolfman

jarvismb
what kind of bandwidth do you need?how many channels?
wolfman
Service manual says the bandwidth needs to be at least 200mhz. As far as channels, it looks like I would only need to take one measurement...but...I found a new y-drive on eBay for cheap, so I'll probably just buy it and try it. If that doesn't work than it's the screen itself that is bad.

jarvismb
sure thing, if you still need it, then I have a dual channel digital scope - 250MHz
