Need Header and Air Intake Suggestions for the Z06

I think I am going to a set of headers in the spring on the car and some type of Cold Air Intake. I figured I would ask some of the seasoned LS1 guys on here what is the hot ticket in terms of performance and installation.

Kooks 1&7/8th long tubes (pricey but we have installed 10 plus sets and they fit an flow awesome! Picked up 40 wheel from the 1&3/4's on the blue trans am)

 

LG stuff is good as well, they are all made by borla anyway... lol

 

Vararam's intakes seem to work very nice

1 7/8 is on the big side for a stock short block so unless your doing a FI in the future its a waste of money. Vararam's intake is the best set-up on the market and mine is on its way to me. i just installed my headers yesterday even with a tune i can tell a big pick up in the power useing the offical seat-o-pants g meter.

If you are doing a heads an cam setup down the road its worth the upgrade to the larger tubes.
