Gergwheel1647545492
COBRA sucks, and it is like almost $400 a month. don't do it huge waste, especially if you are like me and barely use your health insurance anyways.

Rally Pat
COBRA saved my family. When my dad worked for IBM right before he died, we had COBRA and they handled all of our expenses. I think we only ended up paying something like $500 for some sort of RF blood clot scan.

street pilot
I was referred to my temporary insurance provider by AAA. You might get a discount if you have a membership. https://www.temporaryinsurance.com/stm/(dhlaqv45gblztz55ke3ahtas)/GetQuote/
kirks5oh
i've seen plenty of peoples' lives seriously screwed up by not having insurance--i see it EVERY day. picture breaking your ankle, and requiring surgery. you cannot work for 3 months, and your hospital bill is $10k minimum because you don't have insurance. young people risk it (and don't get insurance), because they know they won't get too sick (pneumonia, heart attack, etc.), but it just takes one injury, and not even a major one to screw things up beyond imagination
Pedro1647545510
I used https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/ a few years back. I needed a temporary plan to hold me over during motorcycle riding season until my health insurance kicked in at my new job. They have a nice comparision tool there. They have long term health insurance options as well.
