SamZman
I was gonna put an FM direct adapter on my g/f's stereo for her Sirius and am not sure how to get the factory stereo out. Anyone have any experience with this? I know generally you can just pop out the plastic trim, but I'm not positive this will pop out and don't wanna start breaking things... Will this pop out or do I have to take other dash pieces apart to get to it? That's what I'm thinking from what I read around, but I cant find a very direct "how to".. Here is a picture of what her dash looks like: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic/civwddash01.jpg Thanks for any help!
Jelloman4571647545499
If I remember right, you have to start with the center console and work your way up. There are screws inside the glove box, just open it up. Then under the steering colum take that access cover completely off. all the way up to the player. You access the changer and player screws from the bottom. Its been a long time since I have taken them apart at work. Dont need to cause the good ol 1and6 trick for codes. Yeah, you have to take the center console out and there's some screws at the bottom. That's all I really remember. I did this same thing for my wife's friends. 87GT
Honda's like to make sure everything is screwed in. If you start to take it off and a part isn't coming off look for a screw holding it on.
