So far, I'm basically looking at HDD models only. The JVC's seem to be getting pretty good reviews, but I hear their customer support is really lacking. The Sony's I've looked at seem to have poor video quality. I tend to stand by Sony since they seem to always have the best camcorders for the price, but I really haven't looked into their HDD camcorders.
