The Pikey
Can anyone give me the most simple instructions on how to compress digital photos? I'm a novice at this, and the images I'm trying to send keep timing out because of their size. The only way I've been able to send them is by cropping them to death. I only have the applications that come with Vista Home, if that helps. Thanks Peace
blue98ls1
Download something like IrfanView you can get it free here: http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm Open up the picture you want to resize in the software, and then click on the "image" menu and then click on "resize/resample". Where it says "set new size" change the width to something like 800 or 600 and it will fill in the other part. Click "ok" and if its a size to your liking, save your picture. SpaceGhost
Or just use "photo editor" that comes with Vista and do the same thing.
