V8 Beast
I'm about to install a fence in my backyard and was wondering who on the board does this type of work?
TimTaylor751647545500
I installed my fence, but I did it during the summer...you know, when the ground isn't frozen.

When I say about to it means in a month or two I still have to get the material, and contact the utility peoples

I was given a silmilar quote and found that I could get all the stuff I need for under $1000 if I do my own work.

Scotty2Hotty
What kind of fence do we speak of? If concertina wire/land mines are involved I will do so for a case of Miller Light in cans please.
V8 Beast
How level is your yard? Going 6' tall I'm assuming. Cant have over 4' here. The ground is not level. It slopes down so that it can properly drain (even though it doesnt ). I have to redo the backyard before I put the fence up because it puddles up by the back end of the yard. Mine came to $975. did you use Presure treated fencing or cedar? the company that I was going through refused to use PT wood since it can spilt and warp as it dries not. Only thing that they use the PT wood on are the post.
