Let me know who you go with,we looked at doing this right after the boys were born.for a Cedar fence the price was around $5k.

I was given a silmilar quote and found that I could get all the stuff I need for under $1000 if I do my own work.

How level is your yard? Going 6' tall I'm assuming.

Cant have over 4' here. The ground is not level. It slopes down so that it can properly drain (even though it doesnt  ). I have to redo the backyard before I put the fence up because it puddles up by the back end of the yard.

Step 1: Rent auger.

Step 2: Measure and mark where the posts will go.

Step 3: Get friend.

Step 4: Hold the fuck on if there are roots.

Step 5: Install.

Step 6: Beer.

That's exactly why I did mine myself. Lee & Lanis both quoted me upwards of $5k. Mine came to $975.

did you use Presure treated fencing or cedar? the company that I was going through refused to use PT wood since it can spilt and warp as it dries not. Only thing that they use the PT wood on are the post.
