Couple of brake questions 1998 Chevy Malibu

Just did the front brakes. One side was down to bare metal. Before they were replaced the ABS light would come on after a hard stop. Then it stayed on the last week or so.

Anyway the questions are how do you get seized up caliper pins out of the caliber bracket? I tried using a wrench and they didnt budge. Also the ABS light is still on after the change. Will this go off eventually? Or do I need to reset the code? Or is something still wrong? I am guessing the Autozone code reader doesnt work for ABS. Is there a way to check this yourself? example fords you cant flashes etc. Thanks CJ
