Buck531
Come on buck you know the rules needs a price and description. Huh? Price is in the title?? 4. If you want to use CR as a venue to sell your item(s), please take the time to post a full description and asking price. Do not just post a direct link to Ebay or Craigslist. If you do have an Ebay or Craigslist ad, you can add it to your post if you would like. I'm not posting the entire Craigslist ad.. there's a bunch of shit in there. but ok.. I'll copy and paste the ENTIRE ad.
Buck531
[/url] 1998 GMC Jimmy 4x4 Power Everything, CD/MP3/XM/iPod, Eclipse Speakers - $4000 (Gahanna) Reply to: sale-635712699@craigslist.org Date: 2008-04-09, 2:55AM EDT I am selling my 1998 GMC Jimmy. It has 188,000 miles on it, 50k of which I put on it myself in the 3 years I owned it. I did a lot of traveling, so it saw the freeway quite a bit. When I bought it, it had all kinds of little things wrong, mirrors were missing, etc. I dumped quite a bit of money into it fixing it up. It has premium aftermarket rotors in the back as of '05, and premium aftermarket brakes all around that are about a year old. The rear differential was replaced in '05, as well as both side mirrors and the windshield. I had a major tune-up and had the transmission serviced about a year ago. I've babied it since I've owned it. I put a JVC CD/MP3/XM/iPod receiver in it with iPod connections. I also replaced the factory speakers all with high end Eclipse speakers. It is wired for XM, but I no longer have a subscription. It also has an alarm on it. I plan on leaving all of this in it when it is sold. Interior is tan, and I keep it pretty clean most of the time. I replaced a bunch of misc interior pieces when I first got it. Here are some of the highlights of the vehicle: Leather Interior Heated Seats (wonderful in the winter) Push button 4x4 (was a godsend in these past blizzards) AM/FM/CD/MP3/XM/iPod Receiver Eclipse speakers throughout 6cyl 4.3L High Output engine (Runs great! Lots of power!) Newer rear differential Newer brakes and rotors Newer all weather tires (LOTS of tread left) Lifetime alignment at Firestone (have documentation) Automatic transmission Power Windows Power Locks Power Seats Power Moonroof The bad: Rear wiper doesn't work. Hasn't since I have owned it. I replaced the motor, but 5 minutes later it died again. No idea what is wrong with it. It does have some scrapes on the sides, and it looks like the previous owner may have backed into something. The corner of the rear bumper is pushed in slightly. Most people don't notice it unless they are looking for it, it's pretty minor. It does have rust in a few spots. Nothing too major. I took it to a shop and got an estimate to fix the scrapes and rust for under $600. I'm not trying to tell people this is a perfect vehicle. For it's age, it looks pretty good, and it runs great! It would be a great "first car" or a car for a kid in high school or college. It's already got the stereo system in it, it's already got some marks on it, so it's not a huge deal if it gets dinged up a bit. Interior looks great, and it's got an alarm on it. I have an albumn with many pics, including pics of the scapes and rust here: http://picasaweb.google.com/dizzy49/1998GMCJimmy Kelly Blue Book for this (without the stereo/alarm) is between $2800 and $3700. I've invested thousands into the repair and maintance, and another $1400 for the stereo system and alarm. $4000 for this is a steal! http://images.craigslist.org/01010201030301160720080408b140e475d46bd5220f00c40f.jpghttp://images.craigslist.org/01010201150201030520080408a388145f1a354eac70000d20.jpghttp://images.craigslist.org/01011001020301160220080408216d726b539f54c496003774.jpghttp://images.craigslist.org/01010001150401030720080408a56d9544077821b43800ed1c.jpg This item has been posted by-owner. Buck531
Yeah I know. If it weren't for the 188k miles on it it's not in bad shape. He said he'd probably go down to 3k after a while. I dunno.
