Billiumss Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 Hi guys, My cousin just bought a cherry 03 Mustang GT Auto Vert with only 9k miles. He is looking to maybe drop about a $1,000 into the car for mods. It's 100% stock, never been raced. What would be the best bang for the buck? Tune, Catback, Air intake? I had a few ideas for him, but I'm more of a GM guy, so I figured I would ask some of the pros on here. Hopefully Dyno Brian will reply as well. Spidey2721 Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 IMHO... if its a daily driver you might want to go 3.73. 4.10 can be a lil steep for highway use. i think those come with 3.27 or something like that. are those automatics still the 4R7OW trans? Cherry = mint/perfect shape.... lol Keep them coming guys... I don't think he'll want to lower it, just make it sound a little better and faster. What about brand of these parts you guys talk about? Its a Automatic. Unless they got a new shfter that gets it from P to D alittle bit quicker. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Just thought I would throw that out there!
