99FLHRCI
no foor door no care. If you click the truck it goes to another article and it says: "I was just advised that by 2010 we'll have a diesel hybrid pickup (for sale in the US market). It will be available for the two-door and four-door pickups, and the SUV," says Mr. Perez. "Nobody is going to have a truck close to this." Rhett
Toyota, Mazda, Mitsu have had out 4cyl turbo d's or trucks like this for awhil, they use them in the middle east (yes the middle east where gas is like $1.25 USD) I'll try to get a picture of them on here shortly, they have them all over the base and out side. SpaceGhost
Let's do the math about diesel and these trucks. Let's say both trucks have 20 Gal fill ups This diesel gets 35MPG The other 87 Octane truck gets a generous 25MPG (any truck within 50 LBft of tourque of this diesel) Diesel Costs today 4.09 on avg 87 Costs on avg 3.20 on avg Diesel costs 81.80 to fill with 20 Gal of diesel 87 Octane costs 64 to fill with 20 Gal of gas Diesel gets 700 miles to 20 Gal 87 Octane gets 500 miles to 20 Gal Both drive 3000 miles Diesel fills up 4.28 times 87 Octane fills up 6 times Cost of diesel for 3000 miles: 350.57 Cost of 87 Octane for 3000 miles: 384.00 The diesel comes up $24 cheaper every 3000 miles. What about Diesel not being a viable option?

copperhead
Resale value US > Jap crap. No shit man, I really want another Tundra, but none of them are down to my price range, so I think I'm going to get a Ram instead, since those things are dirt cheap. The older Tundras are cheap, compared to the 07+ body style. Rams are a dime a dozen, and non-diesels are uber cheap. So are most F150's, but atleast the GMC/Silverados are keeping their value. I'd never own a Titan personally, and not a huge Tundra fan, but they can actually haul shit so I'll give them a little bit of credit. BloodRed
It doesn't look too bad. I have seen worst. I will be watching to see how it does. It could be a smash hit, it could fail completely. Only time will tell.
