KillJoy
....What brake pads (for the front, on stock calipers) are considered the "best"? KillJoy
1Quik7
not sure if they are the "best" as far as performance....but prolly for performance/value, are Hawk HP pads. i've ran them in my C5 and all my RX7's.
KillJoy
The reason I am asking about C5 specifically, I just ordered a Baer BBK for the Marauder. Many folks do not like the stock pads. The Baer Caliper uses C5 Pads. So..... KillJoy

Turbotrio
I sell a lot of Carbotech pads to the serious auto-x / road-race C5 guys but the Hawk HPS / HP+ are popular due to being a bit more friendly (Quieter / less dust) for street driving. Bad experiance with EBC? I have never used them, but they are sold everywhere. I don't have a C5, but had good experience with Hawk.
AJ
Bad experiance with EBC? I have never used them, but they are sold everywhere. I don't have a C5, but had good experience with Hawk. read alot of bad things from poor cold bite, fast wear to super high amounts of dust. i currently have C5 Z06 pads on my car (they are different than the regular C5 pad) and have no problems with them on street or the autocross last weekend. for track days i plan on getting the Hawk pads. you can also get PFC-01 or PFC-05 Performance Friction Products brake pads, i think you can get them from auto zone. AJ
also as jeff said Carbotech are good pads as well.
Rob1647545496
i can get 20% off hawk pads if thats what you want. i have performance friction right now but if i could have what ever i wanted it would be carbotech, but it's hard to pass up 20% off so i'll prolly get hawk HP+ next time.
