Greetings from up north, thought I'd stop in and share a few pics of my junk as I finish it up. I may be in your neck of the woods soon for some tuning from SlowMotion.

Enjoy!

How much power should it make?

+1.

Why not go with a smaller turbo and enjoy daily driving a little more? I know you have a stupid high redline so lag may not be a concern for ya. Just wondering and i'll admit to not knowing much about s2k's.

Absolutely gorgeous car though. Kudos.

I posted earlier, my goal for now is 450hp/300tq daily driven for now. More will be made for special occasions. With a GT3076R (great turbo for this car) I would be near out of the efficiency range with just a little more power, with the GT3582R I will be within the efficiency range, still have much potential and have a harder hitting top end as this turbo moves much more air. It should be spooled up ~4500rpm and redline is 9000rpm. This is a top end performing car and I suppose using the GT35R keeps that "trait". Anywho, it will be much better than the Vortech I used to have that didn't reach full boost until redline.

That is a sweet project, although personally I am more of a NA high rev motor guy.

I've yet to see a F20C or F22C break over 325whp n/a. I've seen quite a few in the 600's and a select few in the 700's turbocharged. n/a tuning on this engine is very expensive as well. My total build cost INCLUDING the car is ~$26,000 +-$1000. In the future I may upgrade the valvetrain and string this pig out to 9500rpm+.

I'm not a numbers man. I think dyno queens are stupid and useless, and I would much rather have a 29 second car thats fun to drive and can autocross like a beast.

To each his own, though.

It's not going to be a dyno queen. I'll be autocrossing/road racing for much of this summer. Many of the high number S2K guys are competitive.

If I were to build this thing N/A I would have already spent more than I have on my current setup to reach a power level not even close to what my setup will be making. I just couldn't justify spending an arm and a leg for very minimal gains when I can spend the same or a less amount of money for a setup with outstanding gains.

Sure a n/a tuned S2K is great fun, but a boosted high hp S2k for the same price is going to be a hell of a lot more fun.

As you said, to each their own.
