Stimmel1647545512 Posted May 6, 2008 Report Share Posted May 6, 2008 Is there any reason people use 160 degree thermostats in thier cars, I have one laying in the garage that says its for my car and a 160 deg any real benifit from using it over my 180 degree besides 20 degrees? I know some people will switch between a 180 and something lower in the summertime. However, you are not going to get much heat in the winter.
