Back again, an introduction

Hello folks,

I'm Jack and I joined a few years back but havnt been around much. I'm finally getting my life in order and I've got some free time, so here I am. I'll keep things as simple as I can.

 

The cars: I've got a stone stock '02 Wrx Impreza in world rally blue thats my daily driver. It's not even worth throwing pictures up, but if anybody really wants to see it I'll grab some. I've got a '92 F-150 4x4 5.0 thats a beater truck. It's sitting next to my garage waiting to get a clutch. Finally, I've got a '64 Dodge Dart 2dr convertible that was left in the garage when I bought my house. It's pretty rough, but fixable. slant six, pushbutton auto. neat car, but I may just sell it for the space.

The bikes: most recent purchase was a 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200. Dosnt run, and the previous owner says it needs valves adjusted and carbs cleaned. we'll see. It was cheap and super clean. My other streetbike is a '77 yamaha Xs650 which hasnt run in a few years. Work in progress, I guess (kind of a trend with me). I've got a couple dirtbikes; a '99 Xr250 with a 280 kit and pro circuit pipe and a '90 Rm250 with some engine work and pro circuit pipe and silencer. oh, and an '03 Xr50 pitbike, minor mods (2.5hp!)

My skills: I'm trained as a machinist, and worked on cars as a hobby since high school and as a career for about 3 years, until I went back to machining. I'm now doing the night class thing to become a mechanical engineer so I can get a cushy office job that dosnt kill my knees.

 

All in all, it's good to be back.

And finally, a little treasure from my younger days. I'm in a 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS, Turbo AWD. Cams, bigger compressor housing, cold air setup, and flowmaster exhaust. I sold the car when I moved down here and it hung around Dublin wearing bright red paint and motegi rims for a while before that owner sold it.
