KlubFoot
What all would be needed to make my own boost bypass? What size materials etc? What about an oil seperator?
Guest Hal
Oil separator is easy, just search on SVTperformance.com Why do you want to run a boost bypass? I deleted it on my Cobra because it is pointless.
KlubFoot
It only works at WOT.
schmuckingham
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/boost%20bypass.htm Good write-up but dont ever buy from RPM Outlet, youll never get the right parts in any reasonable amount of time. The oil sep is going to be expensive. I would run any setup exept an L&S or a DMR. I know Garrett fairly well who runs DMR so hit him up for some parts if you want. http://www.dm-racing.net/ http://www.lnsauto.com/index.shtml Also a good Lightning only forum without the BS is http://www.lightningrodder.com
SilverAudiMike
LFP has the oil seperator, or make your own As for the bypass, I wouldnt waste the time to do it and start looking for a used pully setup.
schmuckingham
I was thinking and the boost bypass can be shut off in the tune and if you do get a pulley get a tune ASAP. Ill be selling my 4lb lower here soon with a belt if youd like it hoodlum. Also dont get the LFP oil sep, it works but not well enough. I have the LFP and it still got oil into my pleum and then i tried the air compressor accumulator and it didnt work. I then joined the two and they STILL didnt work, so until my DMR gets here my PCV system is deleted ( not recommended)
